When I saw this video, just reminded me what great success is. That’s Novak Djokovic. Novak Djokovic is a Serbian professional tennis player and former world No. 1 who is currently ranked world No. 2 by the Association of Tennis Professionals. He is generally considered to be one of the greatest tennis players of all time. For him, to invite his umbrella boy to sit with him in the rain, may bring him brownie points. But its his sincerity and humility that won over the crowd. True successful people have a steady head with a silent humility about them. If you are a spiritual person, that humility comes naturally when you know everything comes from the One Above.
There was something I learnt from my son Ryan. And something I taught him as well. It’s not important to win the race. It is important to run the race and never give up. That is the reason why I liked this picture. Everybody will lose the focus on the winner and will start looking if the guy who fell, will get up and finish the race..or just give up. There is more inspiration in seeing the “underdog” perform, then the occasional winner. No doubt, there is always a place for the winner. But sometimes the loudest cheer is reserved for the one who persevered to finish the race!
Our DNA, our makeup of our mind is this: We want to give up. Because that is the easiest thing to do. When we face troubles, it’s easier to say “I give up”..it’s easier to pull the covers over you and go back to sleep. So to never give up, is probably the hardest thing to do. It takes a certain gumption, a certain vigour, a certain mindset to overcome and never ever give up..Keep trying till you get it right. Never abandon your dreams
IN planning your day, there must be something that encompasses your last 7 days..a step perhaps to attaining your goal or dreams to being successful..planning is important, that will secure a path to your success. The plan must be Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic and within a Time frame, or in short S.M.A.R.T.
What is life without risks? Where is the thrill without risks? Most successful people have taken risks in their ventures one way or another..Taking risks is part of our lives..with the baby’s first step, to coming to crossroads in our lives, we take risks..with a positive mindset, we take risks worth taking and if we win, we can rejoice..and if we lose, we gain wisdom..how can you lose then?
Sometimes when you face problems,or what I call obstacles, it can drag you down. You may not even want to face the day. Take 2 deep breaths, and know that your future is in your hands. Pick up yourself and tell to the problem, “My God is bigger than you”..and move on..a true mark of success is when you have a positive attitude towards your obstacles
Dream big! You know what stops you from dreaming big..your lack of faith..Lack of faith in God,lack of faith in yourself..instead we put our faith in what other people..they will throw a wet blanket on your dreams..So, instead,be deaf to those deafening and defeating words, and dream bigger..you are in good company with Einstein and Newton and Edison..the list go on and on and on
